Terms of Use
Last updated 17 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Recollect. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Recollect.
The service
Recollect lets you search external catalogues, save media to a personal library, and organize items into folders. The product may change, break, or be unavailable at times. It is provided as-is without warranties to the extent allowed by law.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to use an online account under the laws that apply where you live.
Your content
Your library (saves, flags, folders) belongs to you. You grant us permission to store and display it so the product can work. Do not use Recollect to store unlawful content or to abuse the service or its APIs.
Third-party catalogues
Film, TV, book, and music information comes from third-party sources (including TMDB, Open Library, and Last.fm). Recollect is not affiliated with or endorsed by those sources. Their data remains subject to their own terms and attribution requirements.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape excessively, or bypass rate limits.
- Do not try to access other users’ libraries or accounts.
- Do not use the service for spam or automated abuse.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service or other users.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we revise this page.
